With a combined 30 years experience in the education sector, we founded Parenting Power with the goal of helping parents face everyday challenges. Our commitment to the growth of our company has always been matched with our commitment to be present with our own children and families along the way.
Over 14 years (and 4 children) later, Parenting Power continues to expand and offer a comprehensive suite of parenting tools, including coaching, courses and conferences. In 2013, we co-authored our first book A YEAR of Intentional Parenting.
While the root of our business is in family coaching, we also offer a tool box of real life parenting tools available for purchase individually or via access as a member. These tools are available in a variety of formats: articles, e-books, mp3 audio downloads and video courses for use at your fingertips whenever or wherever you need them.
We also offer customized seminars and public speaking for conferences and special events. While our home base is Calgary, we help clients throughout Canada and the U.S., as well as internationally.
As parenting experts, we’ve been featured on CityTV Calgary’s Breakfast Television, and on CTV’s Noon Show. We have been regular contributors to CBC Radio’s Alberta@Noon and The Homestretch for many years and were also guests on CBC Radio’s national morning program, The Current. We’ve been fortunate to write hundreds of articles and contribute to The Mompreneur Magazine, and are part of SavvyMom’s Expert Blog Panel. We blog weekly for the Calgary Herald, and are regularly quoted in the National Post, Today’s Parent, Parents magazine, Canadian Families Magazine, the Globe and Mail and more.
As always, our goal is to leave you feeling empowered with practical, real life tools and the energy to face the daily challenges of parenting.
